As an internationally renowned non-profit organization with more than 60 years of history, DECA has touched the lives of over ten million professionals in 8 different nations. DECA provides delegates with the opportunity to network and develop their leadership, confidence, transferable skills and professional development.
Through case study competition in a plethora of categories, workshops and speakers, DECA delegates are fostered into the future entrepreneurs, marketers and business leaders of the future business landscape by preparing them with the skills to pursue a line of business.
What is York DECA?
It is the York DECA mission to develop human capital through community, competition, and experience. With over 160 delegates, York DECA prides itself on its strong sense of community and has seen 80.7% member growth in the last year. Members are consistently challenged through regular workshops and compete at regional, provincial and international level. It is through these experiences that they develop the “soft skills” and networks they need to excel in the business world whilst having fun at the same time.

Furthermore, York DECA has an extensive line-up of events including regular workshops occurring throughout the school year, professional development seminars, club socials and the Sharpen Your Skills Conference and Competition.
